A Passion for Nautical History

The purpose of Maritime Great Britain is to provide a portal for the nautically minded. A place where those with an interest in Great Britain's maritime heritage can find all they need to satisfy their curiosity.

Concentrating on (but not exclusive to) the age of Nelson we will provide detailed information on the British naval figures and events of the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars. Here you will discover that this golden age of sail is still very much with us, in the places, museums and very character of Great Britain.
